If you are interested in volunteering at the Marshall Pet Adoption Center, we need YOU! Friends of Marshall Animals is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our cause and help homeless pets. We conduct shelter volunteer orientation and training classes as well as participate in many community events that support the facility, increase public awareness, and raise funds for the MPAC, including adoption events, bake sales, city-wide festivals, and parades. Our annual fund-raising events are Casino Night, a softball tournament, and the Ugly Sweater Dog Walk. MPAC always needs volunteers to socialize dogs, tame feral kittens, and perform other important tasks. If you are searching for meaningful and rewarding volunteer work – helping Friends of Marshall Animals, spending time at the shelter, or both – will fit the bill. Please complete our Volunteer Application Form and sign up on the Remind App to be notified when new volunteer opportunities arise. Links for both are below.
• Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older. Volunteers 13-15 years old must volunteer with a parent or guardian at all times. 16 and 17 year olds can volunteer on their own after attending orientation with a parent or guardian. No minor can volunteer with or handle adult dogs.
• Volunteer hours qualify as service credits for ETBU and Wiley students.
